Dear Diary,
What an amazing life! Curtis is so ready for baptism! He spent ten hours at the church yesterday, studying from the Book of Mormon between Conference sessions. What a great man!
Joe came for an hour of Conference. I don't know what his intentions are ... He makes me feel a little uneasy.
Liam is so odd. Ha ha! He gave me chinese pills for colds and told me it worked better than the priesthood, because it worked without needing faith.
I am amazed at how much people sacrifice to be in this gospel period. They reject the traditions of their fathers. I don't know if I could do that.
I'm learning so, so much out here. I'm learning to be self-reliant. I'm learning to become the woman God wants me to be.
My heart aches for Sarah Snow. She's getting involved with anti-material. I feel like President Jensen needs to talk to her.
Christ brings togetherness, light, and hope. Satan brings contention, doubt, and darkness. I choose the light.
The Context
"This is a journal entry from my first area. I was serving on a college campus and loved serving those my age. I've been able to stay in touch with many of the people I met and they continue to be examples to me."Resources/Advice for Prospective Missionaries
